A noir-ish game of deceit and revenge, Dark Arc is a highly intriguing tale that plays upon the idea of images and memories. It is the bizarre story of a love triangle between a graphic designer, an artist and their inspiring muse.

Viscount Laris is an eccentric, modern-day dandy obsessed with the power of art and visual imagery to shape the behavior and destiny of the individual. He becomes involved with Juxta, herself absorbed by masks, make-up and false identities. Together Viscount and Juxta hatch a sinister and cruel plot, an elaborate game, where they seek to influence the behavior of Ed, a harmless and complacent graphic designer. But the tables are soon turned, and as the hunter becomes the prey, a climactic confrontation is set into motion, where the penultimate ?charged image? will be the prize.

Vancouver born filmmaker Dan Zukovic, who also stars in the film, has created a mysterious black comedy about love, lust, art and power. At once a visceral experience, and at times an extremely mindbending genre-buster, Dark Arc is a real treat for the senses and for the thrill-seeking moviegoer.
